The Division of Equity & Inclusion seeks to improve the access, advancement, retention, graduation rates, research and professional opportunities, and campus climate for all groups. This includes, but is not limited to, those groups defined by race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, abilities/disabilities, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and geographic region among UC Berkeley’s five populations—undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, faculty, and senior leadership.
