Division of Equity & Inclusion

The Division of Equity & Inclusion seeks to improve the access,advancement, retention, graduation rates, research and professional opportunities, and campus climate for all groups. This includes, but is not limited to, those groups defined by race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, abilities/disabilities, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and geographic region among UC Berkeley’s five populations—undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, faculty,and senior leadership.

Race: Are we so Different?

All UC Berkeley students, staff, and faculty are invited to experience the RACE exhibit at the Lawrence Hall of Science during the spring 2010 semester. 

*Saturday, March 6, 10 am - 5 pm: Staff Family Day. Free admission for staff and family with Cal employee ID.

*Wednesday, March 10 and Tuesday, April 6, 12noon - 2 pm:   "Going More Than Skin Deep With Race", a workshop of the Interactive Theater Program located in Zellerbach 170. All staff are invited to participate!  Click for more information.

*Tuesday, March 16, 2-5 pm and Wednesday, April 21, 8-11 amStaff Days RACE  Join the remaining two special events for Staff to experience the RACE exhibit at the Lawrence Hall of Science.

 

Transportation to Lawrence Hall of Science:

All staff ride free on the UC Berkeley Hill line shuttle.  Shuttle Schedule

Additional bus shuttles to LHS will run during the Staff Days.
