The California Alumni Association believes strongly in the rich diversity of the Berkeley community. Cal alumni understand, the need to protect Berkeley's greatest gift-the ability to bring people of all cultures, backgrounds, and races together to educate generations of citizens suited to address the world's greatest challenges. Our own personal successes, and the collective successes of Cal, are born from this vibrant diversity. The contributions of almost 500,000 living Cal alumni are possible by the diversity of experiences, people, ideas, and opportunities realized on the Berkeley campus. The California Alumni Association is committed to helping maintain a diverse student body on campus, and vibrant community for students and alumni alike. We know it is our duty to provide scholarships, outreach programs, mentoring services and anything else in our power to ensure all future Bears can thrive on campus, and in the world, as we have.
